EFY Shopping!

Today, Kendall, Emmalee and I went shopping for EFY. Cassidy showed up 20 minutes before we left, but we had fun outside and trying to win giant bouncy balls. Before we met up with her, we went to Ross, Bath & Body Works, Lady Foot Locker, Target and lots of other little stores. It sure was fun!

My Mom is a Trooper

Most of you know about what my mom has gone through for the past month. She's been through some super tough times and had to stay in the hospital for about two weeks. She went through surgeries and lots of pain. It's been hard for some of us to comprehend how serious her condition is, but she's putting on a smile and toughing it out for us. I have had a really hard time seeing her have to go through this, so I can't imagine what it must be like for her! My mom is such a wonderful example to me. I could never have the good attitude that she has had while she's been going through what she is right now. It amazes me how positive she is and how great of a mom she is to my siblings and me. I have everlasting gratitude for her and her example. Thank you so much, Mom, for everything you have done for me. You are excellent at your job--being a mother. I love you!

David's 1st Birthday BBQ

We celebrated David's first birthday this last Saturday at Bluegrass Park. It didn't take long until he warmed up to all the attention focused on him! He loved it! While we set up, he played at the park and loved hanging out in the tunnel. Then, he opened his presents and we ate hot dogs and hamburgers. Steven sure had a blast helping David open all of his presents. (You know how that is :) ) Then, I played catch with my dad and a frisbee while all the younger kids played at the water park. After that, we had desert: delicious cupcakes. Actually, watching David eat his was good enough for me, so I didn't have one. I had a great time watching him enjoy himself. I love you David! Even if you can't read this!

Taylor Swift Concert

A couple Thursdays ago, I went to the Taylor Swift's "Fearless" concert with Noelle, our cousins, Kelsey and Mandy, and some of my friends, Sydney, Sadie, and Abbey, and their friend, Emily. We had fun eating Sonic food before, listening to Taylor Swift the entire ride to the Spokane Arena, and stopping by a gas station for candy and gas (for the car, not us).
