My First Drive

I got my permit last night!!! (March 23) I got to drive home from my class with my dad in the front and my mom in the back. She isn't quite used to this whole thing yet. :) After that, I got to drive Noelle, my dad, and Noelle's dog, Beanz, to a gas station and we bought slurpees. Here are some pictures:

Young Women's

Here are some pictures of my kind-of-new ward. I have had a pretty fun time with them.

I guess these music stands were a bit of a load for Noelle.

Barbara started singing "Money, Money, Money" from Mamma Mia!, so I helped her out with some dance moves, even though I can't dance to save my life.

Sheila, our victim and YW 2nd counselor, really deserved this. She started "bullying" Sadie's mom, so everyone chased her down and tackled her. My mom said that when she came running through the cultural hall with us following her, she actually looked like she was scared. That never happens with Sheila. :)

This was our 80's workout mutual activity. We were stretching to warm-up for Paula Abdul's "Get Up and Dance" workout video.

The only moves that I could do in that video were probably the resting walk-in-place move, and this one other thing that was pretty fun. Other than that, I looked horrible attempting to dance.

We had to get a picture together...before everyone got sweaty. :)

My Mother's Birthday

My mom's birthday was two days ago, February 17. We enjoyed watching her open presents (this time I taped her, just like she tapes us) and eating up her delicious cake. It was a good night and busy day.

Skiing at Lookout Pass

Angie, Jacqualine, Kayla, my mom, Noelle, and me took a road trip to Lookout Pass and went skiing. Angie stayed in the lodge while the rest of us shredded up the slopes. Kayla mostly stayed with my mom and Jac Jac, Noelle, and I went off on our own. We all had a blast.

Noelle and Jacqualine couldn't agree on going "This way" or "That way." We ended up going "that way."

Jacqualine crashed about ten times while we were at Lookout. This is an imitation of how she looked half the time we were there. One time, we were going down and she couldn't stop, so she sped past me. Then she disappeared around a corner and all I saw was a skiing pole fly into the air. When I got to her, her poles were thirty feet away from her and she was trudging in the snow towards them, dragging her skis behind her. She nominated herself for the person with the most crashes that day.

This is Noelle ahead of us on the chair lift. The one where my ski fell off...twenty feet away from the unloading thingy, thank goodness. She had to wear my mom's coat because she forgot hers.
